Augustus, 27 BC-AD 14. Denarius (Silver, 19 mm, 3.62 g, 3 h), M. Durmius, moneyer, Rome, circa 19 BC. M DVRMI[VS / III VIR HONORI] Bare head of Honos to right. Rev. CAESAR AVGVSTVS Modius with grain-ears in slow quadriga to right. BMC 255. Cohen 429. RIC 313. Rare. A beautifully toned example with a lovely reverse. The obverse struck somewhat off center and with a few minor banker's marks, otherwise, about extremely fine.

From an old Swiss collection (with collector's ticket stating the coin was privately acquired on 5 October 1897 from the collection of Monsieur Wallaert).
